The beginner’s guide to creating your own blog

The beginner’s guide to creating your own blog

Hi there! My name is Court Tuttle, and I created this site. My #1 goal is for you to have a great experience starting a blog. This is the experience of a recent user:

Before starting a blog, I was intimidated by everything! I knew nothing about the process.

I educated myself using your amazing tutorial. It was easy to follow. I found I could stop the guide, go back, listen again, and move forward…

My blog has been up for 6 weeks and you are still there for me. It’s a great relief and much appreciated.Pamela Zitron - owner of New Age Aging

The Biggest Benefits Of Having A Blog

  • Connector.

Blogs can make a great income.

Before I started my first blog, I was STRUGGLING financially. Deciding to start a blog paid off huge for me, changing my finances forever.

  • Connector.

Making a lot of new friends.

I never anticipated that through blogging, I would meet so many awesome new friends. That was a big deal for this super-shy introvert.

  • Connector.

    An incredible resume.

One of my friends got a job as a University Professor (without a graduate degree) because he had an incredible blog about the subject he wanted to teach.

Good morning, Raymona Brown here, sending an email to say THANK YOU!

Thanks to the help and the information you give on The Blog Builders, I was able to create my first blog from start and within a Year and 4 months was able to go from 1 blog to 5 and from making a few extra dollars a month to making over $2500 a month in passive income and growing!!

So yes many many thanks, what you do and the help you give is greatly greatly appreciated.

Why Free Blogs Aren’t Really Free At All

I can’t recommend with a clear conscience that you use a free platform like Blogger for your blog. While it’s technically free to get started on Blogger, the actual cost is in reality, very expensive:

  • Connector.

The level of difficulty on free blogs is extremely high.

I find that most people who don’t know code, have enormous struggles with running a blog on free platforms.

  • Connector.

The free blog platform can shut you down.

A friend of mine had his $3,000 per month blog shut down by the platform he was on (Blogger). They gave him no notice.

  • Connector.

They will eventually get your money.

This is the classic bait and switch. They make it free up front and then charge for every little thing you need to do with your blog.

My philosophy on this is simple: Pay the least amount possible now to avoid all additional cost in the future.

It’s better to pay $2.75 a month now than to start a blog for free and then get charged $20 a month (ridiculous) as soon as you want to make your blog look better or make money with it.

I’ve helped people to start blogs around almost every topic: Personal, Fashion, Design, Photography, Food, Fitness, Sports, Hunting, Religion, Philosophy, Marketing, Real Estate, Politics, Lifestyle and many others.

My knowledge of technology has always been decent but to develop a site on my own that others will view was extremely intimidating. If so, what was it? I simply didn’t know where to start and how much time it would take to develop and learn how to operate a blog.

With your guide, I found a one stop resource. The videos that you provide are simple and easy to follow. I never felt overwhelmed, actually after each step I felt a sense of accomplishment! Even after setting up my blog, I’ve referenced your guide many times as to how to market it, make money and attract traffic.

Your help has been above and beyond what I was expecting. I’ve asked several questions and your responses have been prompt and very useful. It was intimidating to ask at first but I’m glad I did. It eases my mind to know that you are an e-mail away if I have questions and I’ve had many. I can’t thank you enough!
